Ara, Jagran Correspondent. A case of lynching of a retired teacher has come to light near Nahsi village under Gadhani police station area of Bhojpur district. The murder of 75-year-old Rajroop Singh, a resident of Ward No. 2 of Nahsi, has come to light over a land dispute. Wound marks have been found on the upper part of the eye, forehead and leg of the deceased. The deceased had retired from Bargaiya Middle School in Bikramganj about 20 years ago. Ashutosh Kumar, the son of the deceased, has filed a nominated FIR against four people.

The root cause of the incident is said to be a land dispute. Here, Gadhani Police Station President Rajeev Ranjan told that the matter is suspicious. Further action will be taken after the post mortem report comes.
Accused of assault while returning from farm tax
According to relatives, retired teacher Rajroop Singh had gone to Nahsi-Bagwan Badhar late on Sunday evening to take the farm to Patwan. While returning, the accused attacked him with sticks and bricks and stones near the village and killed him. The relatives took him to a private hospital. However, the doctor declared him brought dead. On the other hand, Gadhani police station in-charge says that there was no such serious wound on the body, which could lead to death. Further action will be taken after the post mortem report comes.
There was a dispute regarding 63 decimal land
In the preliminary investigation, it is coming to light that Rajroop Singh, a resident of Nahsi village, had taken 63 decimals of land from Pramila Kunwar of Bagwan village in the year 2009. Then in the year 2022 the same land was sold to his son Anand Mohan. The dispute has been going on since that time. Here, the son of the deceased has lodged an FIR against three persons of Demha village and one person of Bagwa village in Gadhani police station. police is investigating the case. No arrest has been made so far.
